Long Comments on The Passage of The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019

Statement

Congressman Billy Long (MO-07) issued the following statement today after voting in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019:

"In Congress, we take our responsibility very serious of making sure our men and women in uniform are taken care of both at home and abroad," said Rep. Long. "Today, the House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act with overwhelming bipartisan support to increase military readiness, combat global threats, make critical investments in our military capabilities and give our troops the largest pay raise in nine years. I proudly voted in favor of this bill and look forward to this legislation being signed into law."
